浜野浦の棚田/玄海

玄界灘に面した棚田は、4月中旬から田んぼの水張りが始まり、5月上旬には田植えが終わります。この間、水平線に沈む夕日が海面と水田をオレンジ色に染め、畦道が描く幾何学模様が妖艶な雰囲気を創りだします。

HAMANOURA TERRACED RICE FIELDS/GENKAI TOWN

The terrace rice fields facing the Genkai Sea are filled up with water from mid-April, and fully planted with rice by early May. During this period, when the ocean surface and the rice paddies turn to orange as the sun sets, the geometric patterns formed by the footpaths between the paddies create fascinating atmosphere.
